UPDATE 2: Slashfilm had gotten word regarding the website mishap around 2:45pm Thursday and according to them, as of 9:00pm PST the website was back up.
UPDATE: It looks like it is back up and running. I have no idea what that was all about.
The official 1-18-08.com website does not show you the pictures anymore. It now directly links you to the Paramount website. However it is still possible to see the website with the pictures by going here. Lots of speculation going on at this point. Ideas I have seen have ranged from maintenance, mistakes, changing release date, and making an actual website that has information about the movie. There is really only one thing we can do right now which is wait. Yes, wait, even more. Hopefully, this is the break we all have been waiting for. Keep your fingers crossed.

Thanks, Jerry.
Mmmm, guys… What could this possibly mean?
Seems like they… they… Abandoned it.
I don’t know. My feeling is that is was for routine maintenance. I am pretty positive they did not abandon it.
As of 1:18am est, the photos are back, but I’m sure they were back before that time.
It appears you were right SubZero.
I like how you checked at 1:18. haha
Well, that’s the time I just got home and decided to look. lol
For me, the website still redirects to the Paramount website. It’s 2:00AM (GMT+4), and there aren’t any changes.
Interesting. I just double checked mine and it is still working. I have been on the message board and it seems as though more and more people are getting the website back. There are still a few people who do not have it back yet. I think it would be best to wait and see in the morning. If all is still not well, then we shall have to do some brainstorming.
I even emptied the cache, just to check if that was the problem, but… Nothing yet. Weird, huh? I should check from another IP adress to see if the problem persists.
Alright, Ijust checked, and now the site works perfectly. It seems like it was just maintenance as you said, Ray.
