I have never seen that poster before.
IDK but this looks photoshopped to me, another scam of a poster. First off it looks like it came from a picture of an ordinary grey cloudy sky then photoshopped on the left side for a dark black smoke effect and then on the right side for a sort of fiery smoke effect. The one question i have is since when does smoke have 2 different layers one DARK BLACK and the other light grey? Also if you look into the poster it looks like a dark figure wearing a witch hat with broad shoulders. AND I clicked on the poster and i saw little shadowy letters that read SLUSHOISPEOPLE
ALSO note the blue sky in the top left corner
if you look at the blue sky in the top left corner you can see that the smoke has been layered on top of it, and the color is off in so many places

@Mike - It doesn’t matter, if you can see the poster is fake.
It annoys the crap out of me when people will still try to prove that it’s fake, or bring something up to garner it, when it’s already been mentioned that it’s fake.

Nope. There is just aftershocks and fallout from discovering the roar. Some people say there is a message in it when the roar is played backwards, and other people say there is nothing there. Some say we should dissect the actual roar while others say to find the meaning of the roar or what it represents. It looks like it will just be speculation for the next couple of days at least.
I dont feel like doing all of that! lol i hate doing research and dissecting stuff! Besides if there is a hidden message then im sure it will turn up on somebodys page. I guess people do read our comments because nobody has asked about godzilla or a giant rat or chthulu anymore. You know i was thinking, what if it the monster is something like that swimming dinosaur from jurassic park 2 or 3 i think? you know the one that swims like a shark almost.
AND i dont think we should rule out remakes anymore because i read somewhere that this movie is just an old fashion monster movie KEYWORDS OLD AND FASHION so that means it could be a remake of a movie that came out someplace else but never got released in the united states and he got the rights to make it so now hes bringing it to us in 2008 as a NEW IDEA!
I like it, eventhough it has nothing to do with the movie I still think its a cool poster and I would put it on my wall.
Matthew, if it turns out to be a remake JJ will lose his reputation because he said it would not be a remake. I would prefer something original because well, let’s see, pretty much every new movie that comes out these days is a remake. Not to mention, they all turn out to be bad remakes.
yeah your right about that subzero! although the batman begins is sort of a remake to the first batman movie that had Michael Keaton and that didnt suck so i mean basically it all depends on the people who make the film and so far JJ has made mission impossible and in many peoples eyes that movie sucked lol. And I KNOW JJ IS NOT MAKING THE MOVIE so dont jump down my back but this is his idea and basically paramount is banking on him to bring them big bucks since he is signed on for like 5 or 10 movies including another monster movie without a title in 2009 and star trek which is also going to be a remake. And i didnt say the movie was absolutely going to be a remake I said that it could probably be a revision there is a difference between the two.
but i mean now a days nobody is really coming out with their own original ideas for movies and everything seems to be coming from either a movie thats been made or an idea that somebody else had. I know some people call JJ a genius and some call him overrated but even with a 30 million dollar budget, a monster that nobody knows anything about, and a sick movie trailer, and him saying that this is going to be a new movie like nothing we have evr seen before I still think in the end its going to end up being an idea that we have seen before with a monster that resembles one that we have seen before and he will have taken everybodys money because he hyped us all up and in the end it was just another redone or recreated monster movie
The only idea that JJ is allowed to take, from my point of view, is that monster on that guy’s myspace. I still can’t get over how cool that thing looked.
lol yeah your right that monster did look really cool well who knows they said a chthulu movie was coming out later in 2008 so maybe that will be the monster they use for that movie. As of right now im really annoyed with this cloverfield movie tho like the whole mysterious stuff that is going on its getting annoying and its not making me want to see the movie anymore than i want to because there hasnt been any new updates no news no nothing except a roar on the 18 08 website. I mean for real who else is starting to get bored with this and could care less when the movie comes out
