So like I said earlier… I’m bored. I had THE STRONGEST CRAVING EVAR for molasses cookies. They sound SO good right now. I even drove to the store to get me a pack. But I didn’t buy them. I know they’re a bad idea and I’m being good. But damnit… they’d hit the spot. Yay for me?

Allow me to dissuade you from buying a particular product: Tylenol PM Rapid Release Formula. I dunno if it’s just me or what but no matter how little of this stuff I take it makes me feel like a weird…possessed…cloud or something, I don’t even know how to describe it. Last night I took two (aka the reccomended dosage for an adult, which generally doesn’t do shit for me because I’m resistant to OTC sleep aids) and like…they don’t work FAST or anything, they still took about an hour and a half to affect me, annnd I took them at like ten o’clock so they shouldn’t be still affecting me but they are (if this doesn’t make sense that is probably why, I feel like I am swimming through jello or something) but they are. I feel all dopey and disconnected and my heart feels weird and slow. I also can’t tell if I’m having hallucinations or I just keep falling asleep with my eyes open and dreaming an exact replica of reality with one or two minor and stupid modifications, like this morning I swaer to god I pulled on the bus stop thing with a THIRD ARM and this information bounced around in my brain like a pingpong ball for a while and then I was like “waaaaaaiiiiiittt don’t I only have two arms though?” and then I looked again and I did in fact only have two. But it was a totally seamless transition back to reality so.

Anyway long story short FUCK THIS STUFF. Looks like it’s back to just sleeping crappily for me.

ps In my stupor I swore I packed an awesome delicious elaborate lunch but it looks like I imagined that too! Goddammit.

school needs to make ME money

Long time no update. Already 2nd week of the quarter, classes are going ok. Speech isn’t as bad as I thought (so far anyway) but the time really sucks, it’s soooo long too. But having it once a week is pretty spiffy. 3D Design is pretty cool, our 1st and 2nd projects are due tomorrow, my 6 sided box came out cool but the dodecahedron .. not so much. Photoshop is good, my teacher knows a lot so I’m hoping to learn more, so far just going over the basics of Photoshop (that should have been done in the first Photoshop class) making brushes, creating layer masks, all that. Photography is a bitch with the length too, only once a week, we get an hour break and I have that class with Ashley, Roxy, and Raul, and we’ve pretty much had the same classes since we’re all Graphic Design majors. Renting out the super cool cameras is fun, first day I got the Nikon D80 - I had no clue how to use it! It has sooo many buttons lol, but the pix come out great.

Enough of that, I’ve applied for a job and I hope I get it, I don’t wanna jinx it yet. That would suck.

It’s finally COLD today. The clouds are icky, looks like it should rain or even snow. Fall is here!

Speaking of TV, I’m loving Heroes, just caught the new episode last night and OMG, West is so friggin’ cute, I don’t want to but I can’t help it, ugh. With all the stuff that may be involving his character (hm hm?) I hope he’ll be sticking around longer, and maybe becoming a regular? That’d be cool. But the flying - SO LAME, I was seriously bawling. Boo hoo for Sylar, but dang he’s lookin’ hot. And the situation with Peter was SO predictable, ugh, I knew it, they couldn’t make it easy like that, NO! Fall in love with the Irish girl, btw does she have powers? I suspect everyone now, even Claire’s dad - those Jedi mind-tricks of his. I’m also suspecting Niki will get in a hefty mess with the Company, and who is Micah staying with? They made a dramatic statement when she opened the door, I wonder. Oh and toe-cutting - not cool, don’t do it again.

I still have Chuck to watch, I saw Pushing Daisies and it was … marvelous … for the lack of a better word. I enjoyed it, Ned is such a cutie. It’s kind of funny too, I just like the whole Walgreen’s-guy narration haha. Reaper is pretty fun to watch as well, gotta love Gossip Girl, they just got picked up for 22 episodes in total, woot.

Keepin’ It Gangstuh

So a week ago I blogged about how I was going to put up a new design. Obviously that ended up falling through. I really did intend on putting up a new design! I still have Photoshop open with a few concepts I had started up. There’s one I believe that I’m going to stick to. It’s definitely different from what I’ve done thus far, so hopefully it’ll come out nicely once I start slicing and coding it out.

I ended up getting sidetracked with a side project, MyWHMCS, which is where I’ve been working on customized templates for WHMCS. I ended up getting an order form done, and am about 75% complete with the template for the actual system itself. I think a lot of time will just be spent cleaning up things that aren’t used like icons. I’ll also have to really organize and put out a detailed README file for it, because it’s pretty intricate. I think the only thing that really needs to be combed with a fine tooth brush is the stylesheet. It’s almost 1,000+ lines right now, and I’m not even done coding. I think what I’ll end up having to do is using the same table style (yeah, it’s for data so stfu!) rather than each one having their own styles applied. It’ll definitely remove a BUNCH of coding and ease that load time.

It’s a little later than I had planned on staying up. I’m going with the guys at work to a business expo in the area, and they got seats for breakfast which is at 8am. That means I’ll have to be up around 6:30am to get ready. I am not a morning person, so I wonder if I can pull off getting up early, AND getting ready to be out of the house by 7:45am at the latest. Aruuugh.
