Parody websites already surfacing.

According to the whois of Betweenthestars.com, Vincent Ferrara (the domain’s owner) seems to be tagging along with the 1-18-08 theme of having a photo up with a timestamp for that date. Check out betweenthestars.com/1-18-08.html to see his 1-18-08 photo. He also manipulated the first photo that was on 1-18-08 with the two faces looking upwards. It’s set up as one face, as opposed to the two that we see, betweenthestars.com/cloverfield.html
