welcome to the voices in my head

hello my fellow cloverfieldian’s. i’m officespacejk, recently given the ok to post here. i’m 31, a capricorn, divorced, my turn offs are stupid people, rudeness, and…well…stupid people. i like long walks on the beach, moonlight interludes…oh, and a good (and broad) sense of humor.

anyway, i was checking out the myspace pages of the cast. i’d already tried to add each of them as a friend, with no luck. decided i’d try to send a message, something slightly goofy enough that it would require thought to write a response to beth…you’ll understand why i chose her in a moment.

message to beth:

Subject: ok, so…

i’m a sucker for big brown eyes.

but i have a question…a swinger…is that from vines or from bedposts?

response from beth:

i think it means that i’m dating here and there, but nothing serious.

so, atleast there are real people reading these. it took about a day to get a response, which i didn’t think was too long, i know i take days sometimes to respond.

i know that this is pretty mild as far as news in concerned, but for fark’s sake, WE NEED SOMETHING!!! i mean, dammit JJ throw us a frickin’ bone here. the natives, we are restless…not to mention we are the one’s providing the pay in your paycheck, don’t piss us off too much. there 4 months until release, and unless something interesting starts happening (more so than adding a sound to 1-18-08.com that sounds like my dad after bad mexican food) we are going to get tired to nothingness and let it all go. 4 months is more than enough time for people to worry about seeing a movie. hell, i have a hard time remembering yesterday…

so, thank you for listening to the voices in my head, and here’s to a long relationship of good times, laughs, and hopefully something useful on this godforsaken movie.

osjk out

Yes, there are really people writing the blogs, I’ve discovered it messaging Rob and HUD. I find, the only way to contact them (and to get respect) is to reffer to their interests or things they write on their blogs.

I heavily hope, the writers were the actors, I mean, it would be a part of their contract: playing role and writing blogs. I fear, it isn’t so, because the responses of HUD and ROB I’ve got in a very quickly distance, so perhaps… alas… there is only one writer for all the profiles.

But I don’t give up my hope.

The coolest thing on the story is, we, who contact and communicate with that character, we’ll watch the movie with special feelings like “I know them all”. Even if the movie became flop, this personal aspect will made this movie so special (of course, only for people, who try to play the same game with the characters).

OOOPS, not a surprise for you anymore…besides, if you stay, you’ll die w/ the rest of them. oh, and by the way, it really was lee harvey oswald alone, the grassy knoll shooter crap is just a bunch of bullshit.

I am a big fan of goofy bs, sarcasm, and rudeness. There really is nothing to be serious about these days. Just a bunch of us wasing our time waiting for new stuff to come out. It feels like it was a hundred years ago when the second picture showed up on 1-18-08.com.

anybody got anything interesting to talk about? there hasnt even been any new comers to the website! I wish somebody would come on and talk about godzilla! lol or something that has been debunked. Everything now about this movie seems like its losing life. I doubt many people even remember the trailer from the movies. And Why not put it on television as a commercial that would have been a great way for people to know about the movie. Now I know alot of people went out to go see transformers but not as many as Bay might of hoped for and this JJ probably knew. The whole trailer/reveal of the movie was set up to make people think that at first it might be the sequel trailer to transformers (well at least that what I thought it was) until you heard the roar and saw the explosion and the statue of liberty head. Now when you go back and see the trailer its almost like so dull and you say in your head wow this wasnt all that great. I think not putting the trailer up as a commercial for like a few weeks and then removing it would have been better than showing it before transformers because he would have gotten alot of people hooked on the movie like that. In the end of it all I say cloverfield brings in about the lowest being 15 million or the highest being 40 million at the most all because of too much top secret stuff, low budget actors, CGI statue of liberty head, bad marketing and advertising, and unknown director matt reeves WHO MADE FELICITY FOR GOD SAKE!!!!!!!!

    THANK YOU
    Sincerely the “evil rude guy”

hey guys, one of my other favorite movie’s, or series of movie’s, are the SAW quadrilogy (can’t call it a trilogy anymore). below is a link to 4 minutes of the movie that was shown at Comicon.

    http://www.ropeofsilicon.com/news.php?id=6900

this was the best resolution, easiest load of the clip i’ve found. since we don’t have anything interesting cloverfield wise, i figured i’d share this.

god i love a good pschological suspense thriller that putts you right in the shoe’s of the person being killed. if anybody hasn’t seen them, i highly suggest it.

All right guys and gals, I got another site for you to check out. 48-hours.net. It was discovered roughly 24 hrs ago and it has been continuously changing the pictures, as well as the hidden phrases up top. People at IMDb have been emailing the address for the website - x@48-hours.net - sometimes getting automated responses, and sometimes getting odd messages. So, go crazy with it. It’s something so take advantage of the lull in official info. If you feel so inclined, here is the link to the thread that has all the emails users have sent and responses they have gotten: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1060277/board/thread/84764975.

META NAME=”keywords” CONTENT=”48 Hours, 48, Hours, January, Interview, Documentary, Study, Brody, Skinless, Camera, Trauma…

this could fit into what we know, if this was information for an interview after the fact, say, 48 hrs post attack.

i’ve got no idea what this means…what gate?

disappointed :: for now, the gate is closed

here’s another interesting one…is this 48hrs the TV show thats currently on? don’t sound like it

All right, the guys over at IMDb have been relentless with this and we have a possible answer. All signs are pointing to this being some promotional website for the band Uneven Ground. The email to the website is “skinless@48-hours.net” and the word skinless appears on their myspace. The name Jason Armstong once appeared in the source code as well as Canada. Jason Armstrong is their guitar player, and they are from Canada. So that all but wraps this mystery up. As the soup nazi says- “Next!!!”

  38. SubZero15
    Posted September 10, 2007 at 10:27 pm | Permalink

Ok, it is getting ridiculous. This website has attracted a cult following over at IMDb. People have been brainwashed into zombies and making 48 hours a new religion. It is unbelievable. I have emailed the site, completely called them out on what they are and they could not give me a good answer. People, don’t believe this site at all. This has gotten me so frustrated.

  39. SubZero15
    Posted September 10, 2007 at 11:37 pm | Permalink

OOOOKKKKK. I have got it! 48-hours is a random ARG that IMDb has stumbled upon as 14 other forums(we dont know about) have as well. The band issue was random and used for clues. It was simply put there for the 1st leg of the ARG. So, if you enjoy a good mystery head on over to IMDb boards and there is a whole team dedicated to figuring out this ARG.

Hi, I’m new to posting here, but have been reading PC since its inception.

I checked out 48-hours.net…more specifically their source code and it seems like they’ve officially tucked their tails.

In the CONTENT section, it says Official website of the 48 documentary movie.

This might have been said other places or described, but since I don’t know what ARG stands for, I’ve still left my $.o2 on the counter.

It also says “DBMI-You have a new spokesperson.”

Maybe a shoutout to someone on IMDB chatboard…but nothing to do with the whole Cloverfield movement.

Isn’t Cloverfield the name of an Irish town? Or Scottish…I think it’s Irish. I dunno.

Matthew1808, I’m a big boy; if you’re gonna tear me a new one, I can take it.

rumor around the way is that the history is related to the back story, but not to be taken as gospel.
